This is a resource database of all the Little Grey Boxes that are found on the street in London (that I have mapped so far). Sometimes referred to as cable boxes, they often contain electric control equipment. They can be easily opened with widely available keys. Here you will find an ongoing project to map, locate and log them. BEWARE! High voltages may be live inside boxes and must not be tampered with unless you know what you are doing. This may be illegal.

The metal Key below doesn’t actually work for many boxes.

You can buy this all-purpose multi way key super cheap from www.keysbypost.co.uk.

But it needs editing with a needle file.

Mine came quickly and cost 3.65GBP. Bargain!
